Quartz uses the concept of Facets

To reconcile the tension between cohesion and flexibility, Quartz introduces the Facets concept. Built around the Quartz core, Facets are extensions that support context-specific contributions. Facets can be reused across multiple products, allowing for faster iteration thanks to their narrower scope. As Facets gain wider adoption, they can be merged into the Quartz core.
